Susan Babcock White, 54, of Northfield, passed away Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004 at Hospice of the North Shore after a long battle with breast cancer.
Born in Erie, PA on May 16, 1950, she moved to Chicago in the mid-seventies where she worked in real estate property management. In 1978 she married Robert L. White. They have three children. They moved to Northfield in 1991. Susan's commitment to her family was her most important priority, and the activities she loved most were centered around the home. She was an avid gardener, a gourmet cook, and an interior decorator. She worked outside the home, as well, at the Art Post Gallery in Glenview.
Survivors include her husband, Robert White; three children, Alexander, Daniel and Cassandra; her mother, Edna Mae Babcock; and two sisters, Marcia Spence and Carolyn Skylstad and their families.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Marion Babcock.
A Memorial Service is planned at the Winnetka Presbyterian Church.
